“I don’t wanna distract you though...”
“Dude, you’re not being distracting, of course asking me that every five minutes is starting to become that.” My cheeks began to heat up although no evidence was shown.
“Oh, sorry.” She smiled back.“You don’t have to apologize”
“Sorry”
“Dude! Don’t make me accidentally spill paint on you; on purpose!” She raised her thick paintbrush tipped with a scarlet hue in mock threat.
Raising my hands up in defence, I cried out, “I give! I give!” Removing my fingers from my laptop, I glance towards the large paint covered cloth in front of us. “So hows the abstract assignment coming?” I asked curiously.
“Its going,” was the answer as she brushed a strand of her long raven black hair out of her face and sighed, “This is really difficult.”
I tilted my head, allowing my own ebony hair to slip to the side. “How so?”
“Well, its not just random splots of paint, I have to really think about where I’m putting what.”
“Well that what most abstract looks like to me anyways”, I joked before asking, “speaking of anyways, need any help?”
Her lips spread into a slight grin. “Nah I think I can manage.”
“Mind if I take a closer look?”
“Be my guest -and don’t even think about bursting out  song”
I immediately shut my mouth, preventing it from singing out the lyrics to said song from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. As I examined her piece, taking in the different shapes and colours; always interacting in some sort of way, my eyes were drawn to one particular thing.
“So, what do you think?”
Her words barely registered in my mind. My heart began pump a thousand miles per second as I grabbed her hand, eyes wide in fright. “Dude! Your hand! Its bleeding!”
“What! How?!” Her chocolate eyes focused on the stain of red on her skin, then, suddenly, she began to laugh. I narrowed my own hazel eyes in frustration.
“Dude, this is no time for laughing, we gotta clean-”
“Dude-man, look at the cut. Carefully”
I couldn’t understand why she was acting like this when she could be infected any second. But I obeyed her command and drew my sight towards the cut. She was right. There was something odd about it. The colour, it was just too bright. Way too liquid-like. Wait a minute!
Soon enough, I began to laugh at my own foolishness; it wasn’t blood at all, it was only a stain of red paint. An honest mistake, really.
“Oh man-” then an idea struck me like lightning. I reached into my red and blue backpack and pulled out my cell phone. “Hold still,” I suggested, “I wanna get a shot of this.”
Her eyebrow raised  slightly. “Why?”
I rolled my eyes. How could she not know such an obvious answer? Still I explained nonetheless, “Well duh! So I can see how many people I can trick.”
She registered this information then began to lift her paintbrush and created a small, thick, broken red line when the stain was, “Might as well make it look more believable.” and allowed me to take the shot.

This is literally something that happened when I was at my BFFL (BreathlessDragon) house. And, before you ask, that is literally a conversation between us
